If you are thinking about a weekend ski break, Val d'Isere is the place to be seen with the rich and famous. The Parisians in particular flock to this ski mecca with the night trains on Thursday and Friday packed to the rafters and similarly on Sunday, Monday as they head back to the capital. From Grenoble and Chambery the transfer times are typically good (around 2 and a 1/4 hours) so many weekend skiers from other European cities are seen landing late Friday before departing on Monday, having bagged three great days skiing in . In such circumstances, two ski trips impact just two days in the office yet the 6 days on the ski slopes is the same as a weeks ski package!
So go with the smart money, and get away for a great ski weekend with the people that like to live life to the full!

Skiing New Year
Demand is already high here in Val d'Isere for one of the best New Years Eve ski parties in one of the best luxury ski resorts anyway across the globe. Val d'Isere is world reknown for providing outstanding high altitude skiing with a sophisticated town and nightlife. These two combinations make Val d'Isere a fantastic place to ski at anytime, least of all for the biggest party of the year!

Skiing Easter
Well it seems only yesterday that we were enjoying the Easter Ski holidays and this is just one of the examples that highlight how time really can fly by. Here in val d'Isere the snowfall and powder ensured the Easter ski break was a huge success and as we finish out the season, we are already looking forward to the the Christmas ski break.

Val d Isere Luxury Catered Chalets In March
One of my favourite times of the season is undoubtably skiing in March. In Val d'Isere it means typically great snow conditions after all the snowfall in the January and February months, plus slightly quieter slopes and the beautiful spring sunshine that ensures warmth and most importantly fun skiing!
Whilst for some the school holidays might restrict the options to the ski half term holidays, or the Christmas and New Year ski breaks, but if you ski holiday isn't restricted by family ski obligations, March skiing has to be one of the best option in my opinion.
The other great factor regarding skiing in March is that the luxury catered chalets in Val d'Isere are very competitively priced, so all in all you get typically great snow, loads of beautiful snow, quieter slopes, and great value super luxury chalets here in Val d'Isere.

Ski New Year
It might be the start of spring, but now is the time to book that all import ski New Year Val d'Isere chalet before your left with inferior options! It is for this reason that it is such a popular destination with the well heeled and upwardly mobile. Val d'Isere Resort Information
For those that don't know, a little about the ski resort of Val d'Isere.
Val d'Isere is part of the world famous ski Espace Killy network. Linked with Tignes it offers some of the most extensive linked skiing in Europe. In contrast to its neighbour in Tignes, Val d'Isere is an upmarket, tasteful ski resort that is often frequented by the rich and famous. The chalets are beautifully designed and a combination of traditional wood and old slate stone. The town itself has something for everyone from luxury boutiques, chic restaurants, and lively bars to dance the night away. On the latter, it is definitely the place to be seen to ski if you just left Eton, Oxford, or Cambridge! And unlike some resorts, here the chalet girls ensure the traditional male orientated apres ski is always evened up. And these chalets girls are typically a cut above the rest, with accents that confirm that nearly all are fresh out of finishing school!
So we have established its an upmarket ski resort, but what about the skiing. The highest lift station in the Espace Killy network is 3,450m, there are 300km of pistes, unlimited off-piste, and in terms of ski runs, 63 blue, 46 red, and 25 black. Yes, plenty for even the hardiest and keenest of skiers.
